“Great hospitality from the owners Sharon and Arnold – always there to guide you and suggest places to visit according to your taste. Excellent Cumbrian breakfast. Place was not far from the Bassenthwaite Lake – great for picnic, walks and close to nature. Other meres and waters are not far too – all in the 30-45 mins drive range. Plus restaurants are not far as well – we generally used Cockermouth town for most of the days as it was straight 10 mins drive from the guest house. Overall we enjoyed our stay!”

Modern kitchen, lovely dining table to seat 6 which was perfect to have Christmas dinner. Lovely living area and 2 en suite double bedrooms The owner Sharon is just next door should you need anything. Lovely little garden and parking outside the cottage.”
