The bathroom is the place to be after a long day walking the fells. You can take a long relaxing bath or an invigorating power shower. Both bathroom and toilet are on the ground floor and oversized fluffy white bath towels are provided alongside Gilchrist and Soames toiletries.
The double bedroom is reached by a hand crafted staircase and is a fashionable mezzanine gallery-style. It’s a light and bright, area with real wood flooring, spot lights, another flat screen TV, double wardrobe with one window looking towards lovely views over meadows and fields and the other window looking out towards Sale Fell.
The location is superb being just 100 metres from the shoreside of Bassenthwaite Lake. A gentle stroll to a highly recommended Inn, a brand new distillery and brassery at the end of the lane and a ten minute drive to the surrounding fells of Skiddaw. Less than 10 minutes drive to either the bustling tourist town of Keswick or the Georgian Town of Cockermouth (the birth place of William Wordsworth).
